Pre-treating soil with Bifen prior to installing sod.

I will be installing St. Augustine sod in an area that has moles. Would it be ok to pre-treat the soil with bifen before installing the sod? My hope is to discourage grubs that will attract moles.

Answer:

You can absolutely spray the soil with Bifen IT prior to placing down your soil. It will help minimize activity but you will most likely still want to spray over the sod periodically to keep the rest of the population on top of the new sod down.
