A fogger like Pro-Control Plus will kill only the adult moths that are exposed at the time of treatment. It will not affect the immature larvae which are causing the damage to infested items like clothing or rugs. Pro-Control Plus does have residual to continue working after it’s dry, however this product is not for use in living areas for this reason: you can use it only in areas like an attic or crawl space. We have tips on how to get rid of clothes moths here. In general, you should inspect the area, vacuum and clean any infested items, then use traps for the adults and apply residual spray to cracks and crevices.
Pro-Control Plus Total Release is not labeled for use in any sort of grow room/greenhouse around edibles or plants. Please see the product label for a complete list of places the product can be used.
Pro-Control Plus Total Release cannot be used in a chimney. Unfortunately we do not know of a product which is approved for this use. This product leaves a residual and would not be safe to use where the residual could be burned and cause harmful fumes in your home. Generally having a fire in the fireplace would drive out any insects or you may wish to contact a professional to come out and remove the nest.
Pro-Control Plus Total Release is only going to kill roaches that are out in the open at the time you use it and then the residual left will continue to kill for up to 8 weeks.
Fogging is not usually the best option for flea control. Fogs work best for flying insects and exposed insects like roaches. For flea control, you will want to use a hand pump sprayer for indoor and outdoor applications. We recommend our Indoor/Outdoor Flea Kit if you would like to use the same product for both areas. After 14 days you should repeat the application to get any late-developing fleas. Be sure all of your pets are out of the area while you do the application and they can safely return after the areas have dried. We also have a great guide here that explains the treatment needed.
Pro-Control Plus Total Release is not specifically labeled to treat whiteflies. Please tell us where you are treating and we would be happy to recommend a product for you.

We do carry Fogging Equipment which require specific fogging solution concentrates, but these products typically would not be recommended for outdoor use to control mosquitos. We recommend one of our Mosquito Control Kits which contain all of the products you’ll need to quickly control a mosquito infestation on your property. You can also read our helpful guide on How to Get Rid of Mosquitos for more treatment recommendations.
The manufacturer does not offer a specific temperature range for using Pro-Control Plus Total Release foggers except that the cans should not be exposed to temperatures over 130 degrees. In general, we would recommend for ambient temperatures to be at least 50 degrees in the area where a fogger is used, and the can should be at or close to room temperature to function properly. You should not use foggers or most insecticides in an area that is near or below freezing. You will not have insect activity if temperatures are this cold. Keep in mind that you should only use a total release fogger in an area where you can turn off any circulating air and/or pilot lights and have access to properly set and then remove the fogger, per the product label instructions.

Pro Control Plus Total Release fogger will kill just about any insect that is out and exposed at the time of treatment. You should note that the fogger will not penetrate cracks, crevices or other areas that are hidden. Foggers go straight up into the air, float around for a short period of time and then settle onto surfaces. This means that any spiders that are hidden in cracks, crevices, storage boxes, etc will not be exposed to the fogger. You can use the fogger to get rid of any exposed insects and then follow up with a crack and crevice treatment such as Cy-Kick Aerosol.
