From late May though mid July every year, we have these tiny, like a fine grain of pepper, biting insects. They give off a very toxic poison with their bite. The bite area starts off like a mosquito bite and then puffs up and opens into a weeping sore. The bite is very itchy and the sore will last for a couple of weeks. Please help, from Southern Colorado.
We apologize about the issues you are having with these pests. We would recommend getting a proper identification made by a pest control operator in the area where you are experiencing this. We would be happy to help once we know what pest you are treating for.
