Product Overview

SeClear is a potent algaecide formulated to be an all-in-one solution to scum or toxic cyanobacteria in backyard ponds or lakes and reservoirs. This formula works as an algaecide and a water enhancer for better water management and improvement. Unlike other algaecides, SeClear reduces phosphorus content in the water which eliminates the vicious cycle of algae regrowth and algaecide reapplication. Apart from algae control, intervals between applications are much longer with this product and follow-up applications are much smaller as time goes by making it the cost-effective choice for an algaecide.

    SeClear Algacide

    By James on 03/18/2022

I ordered 7.5 gallons of SeClear Algaecide. The order was expedited in a timely manner. It was shipped much sooner than I anticipated. The Algaecide was used to treat a one acre lake behind my house. The results were obvious within a few days. I would recommend Do My Own to anyone who needs these products.

Q
Is SeClear Algaecide ok to use in a pond with fish?
A

Per the SEClear Algaeide label you should only treat ½ of the pond at a time, as there will be oxygen loss when killing off the algae and weeds.  To prevent harming the fish you should begin your treatment along the shore and move outward in bands so that the fish can move into untreated water.  Wait 14 days and then treat the other half of the pond.

Q
How do you mix seclear for your pond

I have a half acre pond

A
The SeClear Algaecide has a varying range of use rates based on the size of the pond, the average depth, the water flow, type of algae you have, density of the algae, and current ppm of the water. You can review the SeClear Product Label for detailed use instructions in the chart to calculate the amount you need, or you can contact the manufacturer directly for assistance in getting your treatments as accurate as possible.
