FoxFarm Happy Frog Fruit and Flower Fertilizer 4-9-3 is a specially formulated plant food that promotes bigger and healthier bloom on all fruits and flowering plants. It features an NPK ratio of 4-9-3 with just the right amount of phosphorous that is essential for fruit and flower development. It also delivers enough Nitrogen needed to enhance growth throughout the growing season. It also includes Mycorrhizal fungi to help enhance root efficiency which improves water absorption and nutrient uptake. This tried and tested fertilizer will deliver a promising result to your plants! It is OMRI listed so it is safe for organic gardening. Available in 4 lb. bag.

New Container Plants:
Add 2 tablespoons of Happy Frog Fruit & Flower Fertilizer per gallon of soil. Fill container with mixture and set plant at appropriate height. Tamp soil gently to secure plant and water thoroughly. After three to four weeks use established plant application table below.
New In-Ground Plantings:
Mix 2 parts of your preferred FoxFarm soil conditioner with one part native soil. Add 1/2 cup of Happy Frog Fruit & Flower Fertilizer per 5 gallons of soil mixture. Fill hole while setting plant at correct height. Tamp soil gently to secure plant. Sprinkle 1/2 cup additional fertilizer around base of plant. Gently scratch into the top one inch of soil and water thoroughly. After three to four weeks use established plant application table below.
Established Plants:
Plant Height
- 1-2 Feet: 1 cup
- 2-3 Feet: 1.5 cups
- 3-5 Feet: 2 cups
- 5+ Feet: 3 cups
Feed by top-dressing monthly throughout the growing season. Lightly scratch into the top one inch of soil and water thoroughly.
New Row Plantings:Till in a 3-6″ layer of your preferred FoxFarm soil conditioner to a depth of 8-12 inches. Add 1 cup Happy Frog Fruit & Flower Fertilizer per 10 square feet of planting area and mix thoroughly. Set plants at correct height and water thoroughly. After three to four weeks use established plant application directions below.
Established Row Plantings:
- Apply 2 cups per ten square feet of plating area.
- Feed by top-dressing monthly throughout the growing season. Lightly scratch into the top one inch of soil and water thoroughly.
