Product Overview

Just One Bite Ex Pellet Place Packs provide excellent control of rodents that can be found both indoors and outdoors. Contains bromethalin as its active ingredient which is toxic and dangerous to rodent pests, targeting and poisoning their nervous system. It specifically kills Norway rats, house mice, cotton rats, roof rats, golden mice, meadow voles, eastern harvest mice, and Polynesian rats. Severely toxic so house mice, Norway rats, and roof rats may consume a harmful dose in one night's feeding. The Just One Bite Ex Pellet Place Pack is a non-anticoagulant rodenticide that is proven to be fast-acting and highly effective. It is advisable to use this product in and within 100 feet of man-made structures such as homes, food processing facilities, agricultural and public buildings, commercial and industrial buildings, transport vehicles, trash receptacles, port and docks, and terminal buildings. Easy and convenient to apply because it comes in no-touch pellet place packs so pests can eat directly through the place pack. Packaged in a 4-pound pail with 88 pellet place packs.

1. Store product not in a location out of reach of children and pets.

2. Apply bait in locations out of reach of children, pets, domestic animals and non-targe wildlife, or in tamper-resistant bait stations. These stations must be resistant to destruction by dogs and by children under six years of age, and must be used in a manner that prevents such children from reaching into bait compartments and obtaining bait. If bait can be shaken from stations when they are lifted, units must be secured or otherwise immobilized. Even stronger bait stations are needed in areas open to hoofed livestock, raccoons, bears, or other potentially destructive animals, or in areas prone to vandalism.

USE RESTRICTIONS:

This product may only be used to control the following rodent pests in and around man-made structures: Norway rat (Rattus norvegicus), Roof rat ( Rattus rattus), Cotton rat** (Sigmodon hispidus), Polynesian rat** (Rattus exulans), House mouse (Mus musculus), Eastern harvest mouse** (Reithrodontomys humuli), Golden mouse** (Ochrotomys nuttalli), and Meadow vole** (Microtus pennsylvanicus). This product must be used in and within 100 feet of man-made structures constructed in a manner so as to be vulnerable to commercial rodent invasions and/or to harboring or attracting rodent infestations. Examples of such structures include homes and other permanent or temporary residences, food processing facilities, industrial and commercial buildings, trash receptacles, agricultural and public buildings, transport vehicles, (ships, trains, aircraft), docks and port or terminal buildings and related structures around and associated with these sites. Fence and perimeter baiting, beyond 100 feet from a structure as defined above, is prohibited. This product must not be applied directly to food or feed crops. Do not use this product in sewers. Do not broadcast bait.

Do not place bait near or inside of ventilation duct openings. Do not contaminate water, food, feed, food- or feed-handling equipment, milk- or meat-handling equipment, or surfaces that come into direct contact with food. When used in USDA-inspected facilities, this product must be applied in tamper-resistant bait stations.

Burrow baiting with Farnam Just One Bite EX Pellet Place Packs is prohibited.

Do not sell this product in individual containers holding less than four pounds of bait.

SELECTION OF TREATMENT AREAS: Determine areas where rats, mice or meadow voles** will most likely find and consume the bait. Generally, these areas are along walls, by gnawed openings, in corners and concealed places, between floors and walls, or in locations where signs of these rodents have been seen. Protect bait from rain or snow. Remove as much alternative food as possible.

APPLICATION DIRECTIONS: The active ingredient in this product is different from anticoagulant rodenticides. Individual rats, mice and meadow voles** cease feeding after consuming a toxic dose.

RATS: Apply 2 to 8 Place Packs at each placement location. Space placements at intervals of 15 to 30 feet in infested areas.

MICE AND MEADOW VOLES**: Apply 1 Place Pack at each placement location. Space placements at 8- to 12-feet intervals. Up to three Place Packs may be needed at points of very high mouse or meadow vole** activity.

FOLLOW UP: Adjust the amount of bait applied to the level of feeding expected at each bait placement location. Highest bait consumption is expected to occur on the first day or two after treatment. After several days, inspect bait placements and replenish bait at sites where there is heavy feeding or where there is continued evidence of rat, mouse or meadow vole** activity. Maintain baiting for at least one week or until there no longer are fresh signs of rat, mouse or meadow vole** activity or it becomes clear that the remaining rats, mice or meadow voles** are not attracted to the bait.

Wearing barrier laminate gloves, collect and properly dispose of all dead rodents and leftover bait. To discourage reinfestation, limit sources of food, water, and harborage as much as possible. If reinforestation does occur, repeat treatment. Where a continuous source of infestation is present, establish permanent bait stations and replenish them as needed.

    Not the old version

    By Dan on 06/09/2023

Half the bait with 20% of the effective ingredient of the old 8lb bucket at the same price. It might still work.
