Durvet Chlorhexidine Solution is an antibacterial cleaning solution that treats insect stings, superficial wounds, cuts, and abrasions on dogs and horses. It contains 2% Chlorhexidine Gluconate which is effective against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, plus it provides up to 2 days of residual action. Its efficacy will not be affected by pus, blood, or soap.

CAUTION: Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. This product is not to be used in ears. If contact is made, flush immediately and thoroughly with clean water.

I would mix this amount up for future use if it will last in storage for quite a while. Hoping shelf life will be possibly a year in a powder room closet.
Durvet Chlorhexidine Solution should be used within 24 hours of mixing. Most products will have a shelf life of 3-5 years if stored properly in the original bottle in a temperature stable environment (between 45 and 75 degrees) and out of direct sunlight.
