Castaway Herbicide is a highly capable herbicide that manages excess or unnecessary plant growth in a wide array of both land and aquatic areas, including ponds, canals, drainage areas, and hay production areas (see label for complete list). Using Imazamox as the active ingredient, this herbicide does not have any harmful affects on any livestock watering, fishing, swimming, or domestic areas. Castaway targets most floating and submersed aquatic weed species as well as other types of undesirable vegetation. After application, it is quickly absorbed by the roots of the target species and then taken up by the plant, halting and degrading any further growth. It also interrupts any capability to process and receive nutrients.
