Full Application Instructions

GENERAL DIRECTIONS:
Apply Florikan 17-5-11 NPK MAX 270 Day according to soil or growing-media conditions and the nutrient requirements of the crop. Obtain a soil or growing-media analysis before incorporation when practical. Follow the recommendation of a qualified individual or institution, such as a certified crop advisor, agronomist, university crop extension publication, or an approved nutrient management plan.
Use a higher labeled rate in sandy, loose, well-drained soils or growing media with low cation exchange capacity. Use a lower labeled rate in heavier clay-type soils or media with high cation exchange capacity. Apply only to the intended area. Do not apply when heavy rain is expected. Do not apply near water, storm drains, drainage ditches, or impervious surfaces. As a precaution, do not apply fertilizer within 15 feet of a water body.

INCORPORATION RATES:
Apply 8 lb per cu. yd. at the low rate, 12 lb per cu. yd. at the medium rate, 16 lb per cu. yd. at the high rate, or 19 lb per cu. yd. at the heavy rate.

BROADCAST RATES
Apply 13 lb per 1,000 sq. ft. at the low rate, 15 lb per 1,000 sq. ft. at the medium rate, 16 lb per 1,000 sq. ft. at the high rate, or 19 lb per 1,000 sq. ft. at the heavy rate.
