Product Overview

Indemnify Fungicide is a professional-grade systemic nematicide/fungicide formulated to control or suppress plant-parasitic nematodes that damage turfgrass roots. Application Instructions

General Turf Applications

Apply Indemnify as a foliar spray with properly calibrated ground application equipment. Use 0.195 to 0.39 fluid ounces of product per 1,000 square feet in 2 to 5 gallons of water per 1,000 square feet. Equivalent acre-scale spray volumes are approximately 50 to 100 gallons of finished solution per acre.

Use sufficient water to provide thorough, uniform coverage. Indemnify must not be applied aerially or through any type of irrigation system.

Preventive Applications

Begin preventive applications when conditions are favorable for nematode activity and active turf root growth. Preventive treatment is appropriate when turf is not currently showing significant damage, but site history, laboratory analysis, or previous nematode problems indicate that damaging populations may develop.Apply 0.195 to 0.39 fluid ounces per 1,000 square feet. Select the higher end of the rate range and shorter labeled intervals when nematode pressure is high. Do not retreat sooner than 14 days after the previous application.

Curative Spot Treatments

Curative spot treatments may be used in smaller areas where nematode outbreaks are severe or expected to become severe. Apply the highest labeled rate of 0.39 fluid ounces per 1,000 square feet and repeat as needed at intervals of at least 14 days.Do not make more than four curative spot-treatment applications. Curative spot treatments must not cover more than 10,000 square feet per acre per year.

Maximum Application Rates

Do not apply more than 17.1 fluid ounces of Indemnify per acre per year, equivalent to 0.446 pound of active ingredient per acre.

For residential turf, do not exceed 0.355 fluid ounce per 1,000 square feet or 15.5 fluid ounces per acre per year, equivalent to 0.404 pound of active ingredient per acre.

Do not exceed the applicable annual fluopyram limit from any combination of products containing fluopyram.

Spray Drift Requirements

Use a medium to ultra-coarse spray droplet size. Position the nozzle at the manufacturer-recommended height, but no more than 3 feet above the turf canopy.Do not apply when wind speeds exceed 10 miles per hour, during temperature inversions, or when environmental conditions favor off-target drift. Avoid applications during gusty winds, high temperatures, drought, or low relative humidity.

Turf Tolerance

Indemnify is labeled for the following established turfgrasses when applied according to label directions:

Cool-Season Turfgrasses: Bentgrass, Bluegrass, Fescues, Ryegrass, and mixtures of these turfgrasses.

Warm-Season Turfgrasses: Bermudagrass, St. Augustinegrass, Seashore paspalum, Kikuyugrass, and Zoysiagrass.
