Apply Wild Hog Scram Professional using a rotary spreader. The product label recommends a spreader setting of 60%. Cover areas where wild hog damage has been observed or is currently occurring. Extend treatment approximately 30 feet around and beyond the damaged area to create a broader treated zone. For lawn and garden areas of 5,000 sq ft or less, the manufacturer recommends treating the entire area.
Hand sprinkle the granules within damaged garden plots or planting beds. When possible, identify the trail or route wild hogs are using to enter the protected area. Apply a band of granules across the trail at the point of entry. Continue treating the trail for approximately 30 feet back from the entrance using a band about 4 feet wide.
Apply around sand traps and greens where treatment is needed to help redirect or discourage wild hog travel paths.
