Ryan from New York writes

A professional injected Cyper TC in the soil below a garden shed. Will it be safe to eat food grown nearby?

The injection was done to combat a termite infestation because the shed was not on a full slab and they were eating the plywood floor. We have a raspberry bramble that starts 12 feet away, and a vegetable bed that was adjacent to the shed and runs 14 feet away. If the plants were already established, and no spraying was done on the surface or plants themselves, will it be safe to eat the berries and vegetables? If not, how far away will be safe on a level grade?

Answer:

Cyper TC is not labeled to be used around anything edible. Any fruit that was contacted should be discarded and not consumed if treated with Cyper TC and no fruit eaten from the tree for at least the growing season.
