Outdoor Baiting
By Will in Wisconsin on 01/23/2015
Not really a review...just a word about outdoor baiting. I have racoons REMOVING bait stations. Gone. Vanished. Have built my own stations out of scrap cedar and fastened them down.
Expert response:
If you have active wildlife in your area, we recommend securing bait stations by using garden stakes, zip ties or wire, or concrete footers. You could also consider stations with built-in weights such as the Protecta EVO Express Bait Station: http://www.domyownpestcontrol.com/protecta-evo-express-bait-station-p-2243.html
Protecta RTU Mouse Bait Station
By Anthony in Haledon NJ on 01/06/2012
Bait station is well built...not the thin walled stations that are sold elsewhere. The bait fits securly in its compartment inside the station. It also locks so its safe for untargeted animals.

Definitely among my favorite bait boxes in the top of my list. Triangular shape excellent for corner/ sill plate corner placements. Great indoors and outdoors.
Don't buy unless you have a stock of bait.
By Clarence in Louisville, Kentucky on 10/24/2018

Expert response:
Thank you for your reply. We are sorry that you are unhappy with the product. We do have the following note in bold on the product page to help clear up confusion: "Bait shown is NOT included. Bait is sold separately." We are happy to recommend baits for you to use in these stations. There are some that come in 4 lb containers, such as Ditrac: https://www.domyown.com/ditrac-allweather-blox-p-1089.html We can also set up a return for you and send you a return label for the stations if you do not wish to keep them. You may want to consider the Protecta T1 Stations instead, which are a pre-loaded mouse bait station: https://www.domyown.com/t1-mouse-prebaited-disposable-bait-station-p-11696.html Please let us know if you need us to set up this return, or if you have any other questions. We apologize for any confusion, and we appreciate your business!
