Customer Reviews for Protecta Sidekick Bait Stations CASE (6 stations) with Fastrac Blox

I have tried other traps that are more time consuming and need more frequent attention.But in loading and putting these bait stations around the yard,we have found several rats dead or dieing on the grounds, they are then easy to pick up and dispose of. So many times we put out money and time to pest control and really don't see any results, but these bait traps really help in controlling those varmits!

Service was fast and delivered on time. We ordered this bundle and found that there is only one "key" issued for 6 stations. An extra key costs $3.45 plus shipping. Wish I would have known upfront it had only one key, I would have ordered an extra one. (Better yet, I wish the company would have just sent me an extra key when I requested it. Could have had a customer for life for a small price.)

I was not impressed with the Protecta bait stations. I found the key difficult to use and the stations were simply ok. I returned my case of six. Shipping was also extremely slow. I do believe in the Fastrac blox. I consider them to be the best and will continue to order them.

The key for Protecta Stations can be tricky to use. If you would like a simpler key, the newer stations with the EVO key are much easier to open. This is my third purchase from DoMyOwnPestControl. Their shipments have always arrived on or ahead of the commit dates and in perfect condition. The products are easy to use, very effective and the customer service is just outstanding with regards to knowledge of their products, usage and offering suggestions on DO's and DONT's with explanations to their basis. Purchased 6 sidekick bait stations + Fastrac bait. I have two areas that needed to be covered. 1.Enclosed Crawl space under the house. 2.Basement area. The major action seemed to be in the crawl space. Can hear the vermin during the night. Placed three stations in the crawl space and one in the basement area filled with the bait as directed. 8 per station. It has been three weeks now. The rat activity is growing and the bait has not been touched in any of the stations. I wear gloves when setting up and checking the stations in order to not leave a scent. I have left them in the same locations, so there is little if any disruption. There are numerous droppings around the stations. NOT ONE NIBBLE on any of the fastrac Blox. After reading the reviews I had good hopes for this product. Unfortunately it has not worked out that way.

If the rats are not going to the bait there is a great chance they have a readily available food source which they know is safe. It is very important that you thoroughly check the area and remove any available food such as pet food, bird seed, stored goods, etc. Once that has been done you will likely start seeing results. this system was much easier and cheaper than anything I could find, even on the site. if you have a full size home this is a great deal as you get 6 stations plus the poison. I only have one area they are eating currently but have not heard the little buggers running in the attic so that is good.

We had a pest control company come to our home and they put the same bait boxes as these that we then bought. They really work! We also bought some "Destroyer" smoke bombs that also do the job really fast! With both we have really solved our dug up yard problem,

Bait station are heavy duty and very well made. Hard to open the first time (the key is short and stubby and the plastic is stiff). Just set out the stations so I have had little time to check for activity. But, if they do a good job, you can bet I will order another case of them.

we preped the traps as instructed ' drew a footprint of where we put them left for a week came back to only a few droppings and the traps had been used .. rebaited the traps and are headed back to our cabin for a check which will have been 1 1/2 weeks.. we're excided to see the out come of this time . we couldn't be happier with your product. I thank you and my Wife especially thanks you . greatfully Steve & Karen Davis
