The Protect-A-Bed AllerZip Pillow Covers are far superior to any I have ever used before. The comfort level is great.  There is not outside plastic but rather a soft covering with waterproofing inside. I would recommend these covers to anyone who wants protection from any type of allergy. I would certainly purchase this product again.

We don't travel often, but I spend a lot of time picking out hotels when we do. Unfortunately, most hotels now have down pillows, and being allergic and asthmatic, I have to take my own pillows into hotels, on cruises, etc. Was pleased to find this product, knowing I wouldn't be bringing home any unwanted travelers. (I always change pillow cases before leaving hotel too and put in air tight plastic bags to bring home). It is a little "crunchy", but I covered them with a standard pillow case cover and pillow case and that helped. However, it did make my head sweat a little more than normal at times due to the unbreathability of the pillow case covers. Definitely a must for traveling though.

I was afraid it would feel like sleeping on a plastic bag, but I was pleased to find that they're very comfortable. I haven't been able to put the mattress cover on my bed yet because an auto accident has my shoulders almost unmovable, but I'm looking forward to getting that done soon.

I bought these for prevention. My son is going to college and I don't want to take any chances. I can say that these covers are made very well and I think they will prevent any bugs from getting into our new mattresses if we were to get them. I don't ever want to have to deal with bedbugs, but if I do, I will have taken preventative measures.

The pillow covers are extremely soft and comfortable. I am using for a one week, and I really got rid of bugs in my pillows. Really slept well in the dark powerless night after post Hurricane Sandy days, without the additional fear of bugs.

Good quality and good price. I do wish that you could purchase individually as in order to obtain the correct amount of covers needed I had to over buy leaving an excess. Will use this company again for any future pest control needs.

These are a Terry-cloth type material. I did not read the description carefully enough. I had purchased some plain material in the past for traveling across the country, staying in motels. You will need to use another case on top of these.
