Crack & Crevice Application

Use with the supplied actuator and injection tubes or other BASF equipment. Apply into cracks, crevices, or void spaces where listed insects may be harboring, living, and breeding. Place injector tip into cracks, crevices, holes, and other small openings. Release approximately 1 second of product. For light infestations, move injector tip along cracks while treating at the rate of 3 feet per second. For heavy infestations, move injector tip along at 1-foot per second. For closed voids, calculate the void’s cubic area and treat at the rate of 1 to 5 seconds per 3 cubic feet. Several holes may be required in long-running voids.

Spot Application

Use with the supplied actuator and injection tubes or other BASF equipment. Apply 1 second per 2 square feet. Hold container upright while spraying. Direct nozzle approximately 12 inches from surface to be treated. Apply directly on listed insects in these locations when possible. Limit individual spot treatments to 2 square feet.

Indoor and Outdoor Applications

Wood Destroying Insects - Localized Treatment of wood-Infesting Insects

To treat Beetles and Borers (such as the following families: Anobiidae, Bostrichidae, Buprestidae, Cerambycidae, Lyctidae, Oedemeridae, and Sesiidae)*, Carpenter Ants, Carpenter Bees, and Wood Wasps*, locate suspected infestation and/or insect tunnels and cavities. Drill pilot holes into insect tunnels, galleries, and inaccessible closed voids, or apply through pest-created openings. Drill holes 8 to 10 inches apart to ensure thorough coverage. Inject product at the rate of 5 to 10 seconds per hole. DO NOT contact electrical wiring, plumbing, etc. when drilling and never use metal wood injectors where electrical shock could occur. Use a standard plastic void injector if there is the danger of electrical contact. For carpenter bees, seal bee entrances after application.

Drywood Termites

This treatment is intended to kill drywood termites on contact only. The purpose of such applications is to kill workers or winged reproductive forms which may be present in the treated channels at the time of treatment. Such applications are not a substitute for mechanical alteration, soil treatment, or foundation treatment.

Active and Hibernating Stages of Brown marmorated stink bugs, Boxelder Bugs, Clover Mites, cluster flies, Elm Leaf Beetles, and Kudzu Bugs

Apply as a Crack & Crevice treatment into cracks, crevices, and/or voids where these insects may be harboring or hibernating. Infested areas may include cracks and crevices, behind siding, wall voids, and around window and door frames.

Bees and Wasps

Apply to an exterior and/or interior of the nest and surrounding area, if possible. For treatment of nests inside wall voids, inject into the nest a sufficient quantity to treat the complete nest. More than one point of application may be required. DO NOT contact electrical wiring due to possible shock hazard.

THIS DOES NOT PROVIDE INSTANT KNOCKDOWN. THE BEST TIME TO TREAT IS LATE IN THE DAY. COLONY SHOULD BE DEAD IN TWO TO THREE DAYS. DEPENDING ON THE SITUATION, PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT FOR THE APPLICATOR MAYBE REQUIRED TO HELP PREVENT STINGING.

Outdoor Applications

Subterranean Ants such as Argentine Ants andHarvester Ants (foragers)

Inject the nest at 3 to 6 sites at a rate of 5 to 10 seconds per site. For very large nests (over 36 inches in diameter), increase the number of injection sites. Space injection sites in a circular pattern on the nest’s surface with one site in the center. To kill ants on the nest’s surface, sweep surface with spray from a distance of 12 inches. Optimal application conditions are when the temperature is 65°F to85°F or in early morning or late evening hours. Treat new nests as they appear.

 Flies (House and Stable)

Inspect and treat where activity is detected including outside surfaces of screens, doors, window frames, or wherever flies enter, contacting as many insects as possible. Treat known resting areas such as ceilings, upper corners of the area, around windows and doors, and other surfaces. Treat inside and outside surfaces of dumpsters and other trash holding containers. Treat trash storage areas. Also treat surfaces on porches, in garages, and other places where insects are known to congregate. Apply so as to lightly moisten the target surface, contacting as many insects as possible. For best results, begin treatments at the start of the fly season and repeat during periods of heavy fly activity. Reapply as necessary, but not more than twice per week. Applications must be at least3 days apart. Offers residual control for 90 days on houseflies on non-porous surfaces.

Perimeter Treatment

For listed crawling insects, apply as a Crack & Crevice or spot treatment into cracks and crevices where insects may enter premises or harbor, such as weep holes; undersiding; wall voids; soffits; around attic vents, cracks and crevices; and openings around windows, doors, and pipes. Treatment of infested fences and tree holes is permitted. Carpenter Ants Living Inside Trees Determines the highest and lowest elevation of the colony. Drill holes into the colony at highest elevation and inject product for 5 to 10 seconds. Do the same for lowest elevation. Drill intermediate holes every 4 feet between the upper and lower elevations, if required.

Carpenter Ants in Stumps, Utility Poles, and FencesTreat open holes or drill horizontal holes in a circular pattern where insects are suspected. Inject 2 to 5 seconds of product per hole.

Treatment for In-ground Service Boxes

Ants, Clover Mites, Cockroaches, Crickets, Earwigs, Millipedes, Silverfish, Sowbugs, Spiders (including Black Widow and Brown Recluse), and Springtails. Apply the product using the injection tube to treat open boxes and exposed surfaces. DO NOT contact any electrical wiring or mechanical parts of a meter.

PT Fendona is an excellent product. The residual and knock down effectiveness is second to none. This product not only kills insects on contact, but it also can be transferred by the insects. I would highly recommend getting this product because it works.

Q
Will PT Fendona Pressurized Insecticide kill adult German Roaches? Can I treat in an open area on the back of the sink and along the walls from the fridge to the sink?
A

Yes, PT Fendona Pressurized Insecticide is a knockdown kill and maintenance aerosol that is labeled for many insects including German Roaches. Reapply as necessary but not more than twice per week. Applications must be at least 3 days apart. Per the product label, this can be applied into cracks, crevices, or void spaces where listed insects may be harboring, living, and breeding.

PT Fendona Pressurized Insecticide used alone will not eradicate a German Roach infestation and repeat applications of spraying the insecticide and reapplying roach bait every 7-14 days is required.

If you are not currently using a roach bait and insect growth regulator to help stop the reproduction, we would highly recommend adding these to your treatment program. Please take a moment to view our Roach Control Kits and How to Get Rid of Roach Treatment Guide for tips on a successful treatment program.
