    Q
I have ants. Will PI harm my bird?
    A
PI will not harm your bird but there are precautions you should take when applying insecticides around birds.  You should remove the bird from the room you are treating while you are performing the application.  You should not return the bird to the room for at least 1 hour after treatment to allow everything to dry that may be wet from the application.  This is just precautionary.  Of course in addition you should not treat the bird cage or anywhere near the birds cage, food, or toys.

    Q
How long after spraying PT PI Aerosol do I need to wait before allowing pets in the area?
A maintenance technician came out and used this spray on a small area of ants in my apartment. However, I have pet rabbits that could be harmed by PT if they come in contact. How long after spraying do I need to wait before allowing the animals in the area? Additionally, should I use water and attempt to clean/dilute the area before letting them out?
    A

You would not to need to clean the area. You need to wait until the PT PI Aerosol application has completely dried before bringing animals back. Per the product label, do not allow pets to enter the treated area for at least 15 minutes until the aerosol has dispersed and the area has been thoroughly ventilated.
