    Q
Can PT Tri-Die Pressurized Dust Insecticide PT Tri-Die be applied to air vents? Would it be safe to use the vent for fresh air ventilation after the application?
    A

You should not apply PT Tri-Die Pressurized Dust Insecticide or other insecticides directly into an air vent. You could potentially apply this around the edges around the vent cover to treat into a wall void; however, you should not apply insecticides directly into any air vents.

    Q
Does it kill wolf spiders on contact?
    A

PT Tri-Die Pressurized Dust Insecticide does not kill on contact. However, the pyrethrin in the Tri-Die will last for a couple of days but the silica gel will last until it is removed or covered up with debris. Q
Can Tri-Die be used to kill carpet beetles?
Can Tri-Die be used to kill carpet beetles? The larvae are coming out from my baseboards and along the walls in carpeted areas. I would like a product that has a straw applicator that I can spray along my walls/baseboards.
    A
Tri Die can be used to help eliminate a carpet beetle infestation. You should inject Tri Die into cracks
and crevices and/or voids where these insects may be harboring. When dealing with carpet beetles it is very important to find and remove the source of the beetles to get rid of them for good. To learn more about carpet beetle elimination please take a few minutes to read our article : Carpet Beetle Pest Control

    Q
My can of Tri-Die aerosol is clogged. How do I fix it?
My new can of Tri-Die doesn't spray. I wonder if the nozzle is clogged, or there's some safety tab I didn't find. Any ideas?
    A
Sometimes the nozzle can get clogged during transit or if the Tri-Die can was exposed to low or very high temperatures for some reason.  Try running the application straw and the nozzle under hot water.  Also, be sure to shake very well before using.  Please call us at 866-581-7378 if you continue to have any issues.

    Q
Sometimes it is impossible to get this material off the side of the building after it dries, any suggestions?
    A

Tri-Die contains natural pyrethrin, which breaks down quickly in sunlight, and silica gel, a natural desiccant that would likely be washed away quickly. The PBO synergist in the product also breaks down quickly once applied. You can always use a hose to water the area to remove any residual product.
