I purchased a home that has Advance Termite Bait Stations installed and the old inspection cartridges are full of mud. Do I clean out and replace the wood base and add a new inspection cartridge? I assume I clean it out and there should be no mud left. Do I need to do anything in particular with the mud?

Answer:

If mud is noticed in the inspection cartridges to the Advance Termite Bait Station, we would recommend knocking any cartridges on the ground to dislodge some of the mud. You do not need to replace the wood base with a new base, simply knock any clumps of wood off and replace the existing wood base in the station.
