There are about ten holes or less in one leg of the table with powder on the floor every great once in awhile. I had no idea what it was till just recently. If I get rid of the table should I be concerned they have infested my house elsewhere? I have only seen evidence of them in the one leg on the table, no where else. Is there something I could do on my own to make sure the house is clear that is also safe for my pets?
Usually the powder post beetles don't spread to other wood items because they have a finish on them already. There is usually no reason to spray anything topically for powder post beetle control if you get rid of the infested piece of wood.
