Steve Murray from Murray Family Farms in Bakersfield gave me a quart of Pyganic. It works fantastic for getting rid of grasshoppers and many other garden pests.
Even though I still have ten ounces, I wanted to purchase my own so I wouldn't have to ask him for more.
Honestly, four ounces mixed with four teaspoons of dishwashing liquid and four gallons of water more than took care of all the grasshoppers.
While watering the Sunday before I used the Pyganic, over fifty grasshoppers came flying out of my tomato plants. It was like the scene from the Alfred Hitchcock movie "The Birds."
Steve gave me the Pyganic the following Wednesday. I bought a sprayer, mixed, and sprayed my tomato plants, and the next day, there were only a few grasshoppers. With another application, the grasshoppers were gone. The grasshoppers started returning in a week, so I sprayed again.
They're all gone now, but at the height of the infestation, spraying my tomatoes about once a week did the trick.
I highly recommend Pyganic for eliminating many garden pests.
