    Q
I want to make my own Speedzone using Triplet plus Quiksilver. How much will I need per gallon of Triplet?
    A
We apologize but we do not carry any product called Triplet and are unable to give instructions for dilution rates.  We would recommend referring to the product label or contacting the manufacturer.

    Q
Will the run-off from QuickSilver T&O Herbicide be toxic to fish? How long will I need to restrict dog use of the area?
    A

According to the QuickSilver T&O Herbicide product label is very toxic to algae and moderately toxic to fish. This product should not be applied directly to water, to areas where surface water is present or to intertidal areas below the mean high water mark. People and pets should remain out  of the treatment area until spray has dried completely.

    Q
Can QuickSilver T&O Herbicide be used on vegable garden?
Can this be used on a veg plot where plants have already emerged?. Trying to control dollar weed
    A

QuickSilver T&O Herbicide cannot be used in or around a garden and would not control anything actively growing.  It only prevents weeds from emerging when applied before they germinate.

    Q
Application Rate of QuickSilver T&O Herbicide
I would like to tank mix Quicksilver with an Amine 2,4 D Herbicide and a liquid fertilizer. My tank sprayer is calibrated for 10,000 square feet. I would like to use 1mm per 1000 sqft. That's total of 10mm of Quicksilver . Inside my 5 gallon tank It's this rate ok for tall fescue??
    A

Yes, you can use the rate of 1 mL of QuickSilver T&O Herbicide per 1000 sq ft on tall fescue. You can tank mix this product with other herbicides and fertilizer, however it is always recommend to perform a small jar test for compatibility before treating an entire area. The product label does recommend using at least 20 gallons of water per Acre, or 5 gallons per 10,000 sq ft. You may see some discoloration on fescue within 3-5 days of application.

    Q
What kills Alligatorweed in Seville St Augustine, QuickSilver T&O Herbicide?
    A

QuickSilver T&O Herbicide is not labeled for control alligator weed. This invasive plant is best controlled using triclopyr, glyphosate, or a few other select herbicides that can be very expensive. Unfortunately, we do not know of any herbicide that is labeled to control this plant that would not also harm St. Augustine turfgrass. Alligator weed is most often found in marsh areas or along waterways, so you generally will need to use an herbicide that is safe for use in aquatic areas.

Hi-Yield Killzall Aquatic is a good choice for smaller areas. AquaStar Herbicide would be good for larger areas. You should apply when most plants are flowering, and keep in mind that multiple applications may be required. You should also use a non-ionic surfactant with either of those herbicides for best results.

You can also read more about alligator weed in this article.

    Q
Can QuickSilver concentrate be added to Trimec concentrate?
I primarily use Trimec Classic as my broadleaf herbicide, but I'm in need of faster results as the weather is getting colder. Since I already own Trimec, can I add the appropriate QuickSilver concentrate within the Trimec concentrate bottle to make my own similar...ish version of SpeedZone? Would the two concentrates be a compatible mix?
    A

Yes, QuickSilver T&O Herbicide could be tank mixed with Trimec Classic Herbicide. When tank mixing always conduct a physical compatibility test by mixing proportional amounts of all spray ingredients in a test vessel (jar). Shake the mixture vigorously and allow it to stand for five to ten minutes.

Refer to each product label for Tank Mixing Instructions and follow the most restrictive label.
