    Results were worth the money!

    By Steve on 04/29/2011

I purchased an 8 ounce bottle of Quicksilver T&O herbicide on the advice of a Delaware country extension blog site telling me that this product would kill 95+ % of the Star of Bethlehem that was taking over my lawn. I've tried other products for 10 years to rid myself of this tenacious weed with limited success. I also purchased non-ionic surfactant to assist the herbicide. The Quicksilver worked a wonder. Practically all the Star of Bethlehem was killed and a host of other noxious weeds as well. My lawn looks like a golf course!  Very, very few weeds. The herbicide is on the expensive side, but the results were worth it if you are as OCD as I am about having a healthy, good-looking lawn.

    QuickSilver Herbicide

    By William on 12/21/2014

Have purchased a lot of expensive herbicides from here. As always - excellent service. However, this product does not work on 'Florida pusley'. Really disappointed about $145.00 that does not work.

    Expert Response  Expert response:
Quicksilver Herbicide is labeled for Florida pusley. Per the product label: "As a stand-alone product: Apply Quicksilver at rates of 1.0 to 2.1 fluid ounces of product per acre (0.023 to 0.048 fl. oz. per 1000 sq. ft.) for control of seedling (4 inches tall or less) winter and summer annual weeds [list includes FL pusley]. Use a non-ionic surfactant in the spray mix at a rate of 0.25% volume/volume. Follow all adjuvant manufacturers guidelines." If weeds are not actively growing, then they will be more difficult to control with selective herbicides such as Quicksilver. You may also contact your local Cooperative Extension office for recommendations from a local Master Gardener about the recommended products and application timing for your particular situation: http://www.csrees.usda.gov/Extension/

    Not Much Happened For Me

    By Andy on 06/25/2020

I've applied Quicksilver twice now to my lawn, with little to no visible weed control. I mixed as directed and sprayed liberally.

This stuff is incredible- it kills Star of Bethlehem which I've been trying to get rid of for 30 years! Environmentally friendly!
