The Ramik Green product label states the following: The use of an anticoagulant bait can present a significant hazard to predatory mammals and birds through secondary poisoning. Where possible remove and bury rodent bodies which are above ground.
If your pet has consumed a rodent that died after consuming Ramik Green, we recommend contacting your vet as soon as possible.
According to the manufacturer you want to maintain an uninterrupted supply of Ramik Green bait for at least 15 days. Continue baiting until all signs of feeding have stopped. Replace damp and moldy bait.
If a mouse or any other rodent is left dead, it will start to decay and leave an odor. There is not a product on the market that will kill rodents and mask the odor.
Ramik Green starts killing within 4 to 5 days after taking a lethal dose but it can take multiple feedings to get that lethal dose, depending on the size and age of the rodent that ingests the product. Rodents are going to die wherever they die, this includes inside a home where you may not have access to remove the body so we do not recommend baiting inside. For rodents inside it is best to use snap traps and glueboards so you can control where they are going to die. You should also seal up all cracks and crevices outside that are allowing them access to inside. Using tamper resistant bait stations with a rodenticide like Ramik outside would help if they are coming and going. We have some guides here that can help as well

This will vary depending on the pest. Rodents may feed several times on Ramik Green before the effects are noticed. According to the SDS: A lethal Oral LD50 (Rat) is >7 mg/kg body weight (Diphacinone Technical) .
A lethal dose is going to vary by rodent as it would be in comparison to its body weight. If you are putting the Ramik Green or any bait out in secured bait stations (never ever loose and in the open) and the bait is gone every day that quickly, you likely have a very large rodent population or multiple rodent species accessing the bait. Maintaining a steady bait supply is crucial to success if there are that many rodents feeding on the bait you are providing. Ramik also states it can take 4-5 days for a single rodent to die from a lethal dose, and they may have to feed a few times to get that amount in their system.
Ramik Green is only labeled for Rats, mice, and meadow voles, it is not labeled for chipmunks so we cannot confirm if it will kill them
No, Ramik Green Rodenticide should only be applied as directed on the label and away from competitive food sources.
