    The shelf life of Ranger Pro Herbicide is 3-5 years from the date of purchase if kept sealed and away from extreme temperatures.

    How long to spray Ranger Pro Herbicide before rain?
    A

    The product label for Ranger Pro Herbicide does not specify a certain amount of time but it does say that heavy rain soon after application may require a repeat application. You just want to make sure you have at least 6 hours of dry weather after you apply Ranger Pro to ensure its absorbed and not washed away, but up to 24 hours with dry weather is ideal for maximum uptake.

    What happens if too much Ranger Pro is applied?
    I applied the product, waited 4-5 days, and did not see results. So I reapplied the Ranger Pro. Turns out the first time I applied it was too cool and cloudy, so the product wasn't very effective. And the second time I applied it was very warm and sunny, at which point it worked well! But, I'm afraid I have applied too much? What will happen?

    Ranger Pro pretty much only stays active while it is wet. Once dried the active ingredient has already done its job and will start to degrade. You shouldn't see negative results at this point.

    When can you plant after using Ranger Pro Herbicide?
    A

    Glyphosate products like Ranger Pro, Round Up, etc do not stay active in the soil very long at all. You can replant after as little as two weeks after applying a glyphosate product.

    How do you know when Ranger Pro is dry enough to be safe for pets?
    A

    Ranger Pro Herbicide treated areas are typically dry within a few hours.  We would recommend waiting at least 4 hours before allowing pets to return to the area.

    You should start seeing results within 7-14 days when Ranger Pro Herbicide is applied to actively growing plants. You should allow 24 hours before a rain occurrence after the application.

    Is Rangerpro toxic to birds, butterflies, bees, or fish?

    Ranger Pro should not harm insects or birds unless they are sprayed with the product or contact areas before they have dried. Ranger can be harmful to fish if it is applied to bodies of water which is against the product label instructions. Ranger Pro is labeled for use in wildlife areas and in wildlife food plots.

    My condo assoc. sprays Ranger Pro Herbicide on a weekly basis. One of my cats was very ill for about a week. He sits outside under a scrub when I let him out. Is it necessary to spray weekly? How long after spraying should I keep him in?

    Ranger Pro Herbicide is a non-selective herbicide that can be applied to weeds or grass. It is recommended that pets are not in the area during treatment/application and remain out of the area until completely dry. We suggest that you speak to the manufacturer of the product for additional toxicity 800-332-3111 Monsanto.

    How long should you wait after spraying weeds with Ranger Pro Herbicide before tilling and planting fall vegetables?
    A

    Ranger Pro Herbicide can be used in and around a vegetable garden plot (keep away from any desirable plants) but you should wait at least two weeks before you plant anything in the area where the product was applied. This is to allow time for the treated plants to die completely before you remove them or till the area.

    Can Ranger Pro Herbicide be used to kill moss?

    Glyphosate products such as Ranger Pro do not have any effect on moss or algae. Lilly Miller Moss Out For Lawns Concentrate would be a better option.

    Is wet Ranger harmful to dogs?

    If dogs enter the Ranger Pro Herbicide treated area while wet, it can be harmful to them. We recommend to keep people and pets out of the treated area until dry.

    Can I spray Ranger Pro around my azaleas and crape myrtles or will it kill them?
    A
    You may spray undersirable weeds and grasses that are around Azaleas and Crape Myrtles safely with Ranger Pro as long as you are careful to not get any overspray on those desirable flowers, plants, and trees. Be sure to perform a direct application to undesirable weeds and grasses and perform this application on a calm day without any wind.
