    Q
Is it safe to plant vegetables in my garden where I sprayed my organic vegetable boxes (had organic soil) with Ranger Pro 3 weeks ago?
I would like to plant summer vegetables and lettuce.
    A

Glyphosate products like Ranger Pro, Round Up, etc do not stay active in the soil very long at all.  You can replant two weeks after the application of the glyphosate product.

    Q
Where are the mixing directions on the product label for Ranger Pro Herbicide?
Have read and re-read from top to bottom. And the container itself does not say "concentrate" anywhere. Still go with 2 2/3 oz per gallon?
    A

Ranger Pro Herbicide is a concentrate that needs to be diluted in water.  The mixing instructions can be found beginning on page 3 of the product label.  The rate you will need will vary depending on the type(s) of weed you are treating.  The rate you will need to use for specific weeds can be found beginning on page 8 of the label

  • Asked by Alice from Glendale, Arizona

    Q
Does Ranger Pro Herbicide kill bermuda grass?
I am trying to kill Bermuda grass. If this product kills Bermuda grass, do I need to cut down the grass all the way to the ground, or do i spray it as is?
    A

Ranger Pro Herbicide is a non selective herbicide and will kill any and all grasses and weeds you spray it on. Make sure if there is anything around the bermuda grass you do not want to harm that you keep your sprays to spot treatments and very directed towards the grass only. You do not want to mow or cut any grass or weed you are wanting to kill with any herbicide within 2 days before or 2 days after application.

  • Asked by Quinlan from Enoree, Sc
    08/10/2017
    Q
    Will Rranger Pro kill perennials?
Have applied ranger pro to perennial brush at 6oz per gal, with no kill yet.
    A

Yes, Ranger Pro Herbicide will kill perennial weeds and brush. Ranger Pro moves through the plant from the point of foliage contact to and into the root system. Visible effects are a gradual wilting and yellowing of the plant, which advances to complete browning of above ground growth and deterioration of underground plant parts. Effects are visible on most annual weeds within 2 to 4 days, but on most perennial weeds, effects may not be visible for 7 days or more. Extremely cool or cloudy weather following treatment may slow activity of this product and delay development of visual symptoms.

    Q
Can I apply Ranger Pro to dormant Bermuda grass?
    A

Ranger Pro can safely be applied to dormant Bermuda grass.  However, please keep in mind that at this time of year, in many areas, Bermuda grasses are already beginning to green up and may be damaged by broadcast sprays of glyphosate products like Ranger Pro. You may want to only spot treat the weeds if this is indeed the case.
