    Q
After spraying a pasture with Relegate Selective Herbicide, when can animals such as cows and horses graze in the area?
    A

Relegate Selective Herbicide does not mention horses on the product label therefore would recommend contacting NuFarm directly at 800-345-3330. The grazing restrictions for cattle are listed below.

Grazing or harvesting green forage Beef cattle:

No grazing restrictions if applications are 2 quarts per acre or less or if less than 25 percent of a grazed area is treated. See product label for additional grazing restrictions and for intervals for dairy animals. Consult product label for haying intervals.

Slaughter restrictions: Withdraw livestock from grazing treated grass or consumption of treated hay at least three days before slaughter.

    Q
What is the Relegate Selective Herbicide ratio to mix with water?
Trying to kill large area of blackberry
    A

According to the Relegate Selective Herbicide Product Label: Apply during or after bloom for best results on blackberry. The rate range given is 2-4 pints per acre, which would break down to roughly 0.72- 1.45 oz per 1000 sq/ft in 1-2 gallons of water. Water volume used may vary based on density of plant foliage being sprayed.

    Q
Does Relegate Selective Herbicide kill invasive Black Locust trees in a wild backyard without destroying native grasses?
We own property on the a bay in Maryland so I do not want a product that is banned or dangerous to the health of the bay. Also what kind of protection do I need to use.
    A

Relegate Selective Herbicide was discontinued by the manufacturer, however this product was labeled for control of locust. If you already have this product, then it could be used as directed for locust control on native grasses on permanent pastures, rangeland, fencerows, etc. This product should not be used on residential lawns or where it could drift into aquatic areas like a pond, river, or lake.
