killing /mildew/fungus mold in carpet
The description says uses water?? Are they telling us that the hot steam alone will kill mildew and mold in my carpet? Can I use a chemical which is formulated to kill mold instead of water in this Brio EB250?

The EnviroMate BRIO Steam Cleaner uses a very hot dry steam to kill mold and mildew. There is not a need to use harsh chemicals to kill the mold spores as the temperature of the steam is enough to kill the spores. The EnviroMate BRIO Steam Cleaner uses a very hot dry steam to kill mold and mildew. There is not a need to use harsh chemicals to kill the mold spores as the temperature of the steam is enough to kill the spores. Using a steamer will make your mold remediation faster, it is environmentally friendly, less labor intensive (heat does most of the work), and a great mold and microbial remediation due to the steam’s penetrating properties.

How hot does this steam get for the EnviroMate Brio 250CC?
I have birds and would like to use this on ceramic tile. Sometimes poop dries and become had to remove.
