Have tried this out many times for bed bugs, it cleans stuff pretty well but thus far seams rather ineffective against the bed bugs, even after direct exposure to the steam for a few the little thing still started to crawl away, one fast spray of the poisons though puts a end to that. Not going to say completely useless but make sure to focus on each area for a while to attempt to get the temp high enough to kill. Past bed bugs though it is a useful thing to have around the house so even though it does little for the bed bug issue it is a pretty nice product all the same.
