    Where is the thermostat and humidistat for the Remington Solar Attic Fan 20 - Watt?
    The manual that comes with the unit says that the thermostat and humidistat are in a separate bag but there isn't one, is it not included or did my order come short?

    The Remington Solar Attic Fan 20 - Watt is a combo unit, which means that the thermostat and humidistat are already built in. It is the small blue box connected to the bracket underneath the fan.

    Can the Remington Solar Attic Fan be used if you have a metal roof?
    Can it be put on a metal roof, they laid the metal on top of the shingles that were already there. I have one fan in the attic which has to be replaced, it has a side exit air spot. Could this be mounted on the side of the house?

    We believe as long as you use a curb mount (base) for the Remington Solar Attic Fan unit to sit on, it should be fine, but would suggest confirming with Remington Solar Inc directly on if this applies to metal roofs also.  You can reach Remington Solar at 888-978-2578

    Yes, the Remington Solar Attic Fan 20 - Watt can be used on flat commercial grade cool roof. The manufacturer does recommend using a curb (basically a base) mount when using this product for it to sit on.

    What are the factory set on/off temperatures for the Remington Solar Attic Fan 20 - Watt?
