Rhododendron lace bugs

When to apply via drench method? In the fall? summer? Please advice. My rhododendrons have signs of lace bugs. One of them died and two are sick.

Answer:

Bonide Systemic Insect Control is a very good product for lacebugs. You will use 1 1/2 fl. oz. per gallon of water. You will spray the entire plant, covering both sides of the foliage thoroughly. We recommend consulting with your cooperative extension office for timing and additional information regarding the health of the plant for alternate options.
