    Q
    Roundup Custom on tree stump
Hello I have cleared trees and brushes from around my pond and want to kill the stumps, what would be my mixing ratio of Roundup Custom Aquatic weedkiller
    A

Per the product label, Cut trees or resprouts close to the soil surface. Apply Roundup Custom Aquatic Terrestrial Herbicide as a 50 to 100 percent solution to the freshly- cut surface immediately after cutting. Delays in application may result in reduced performance. If stumps have been cut, you can drill holes into the stump to allow better absorption.

For best results, applications should be made during periods of active growth and full leaf expansion.

  • Asked by Terry from Suffolk
    07/22/2019
    Q
How much Roundup Custom Aquatic Terrestial Herbicide would I use in 180 gallon to kill phragmites?
    A

Per the product label of Roundup Custom Aquatic Terrestial Herbicide: For areas outside of FL, you would apply 2-3 quarts per acre (per in 100 gallons) as a broadcast spray or apply a 0.75% (1 oz per gallon) solution with hand-held equipment for partial control.  For best results, treat during late summer or fall months when plants are actively growing and in full bloom.  Due to the dense nature of the vegetation, which may prevent good spray coverage and uneven stages of growth, repeat treatments may be nesessary to maintain control.  Visual control symptoms will be slow to develop.
