If you want to put edible plants in an area that was previously treated with Ferti-lome Weed Free Zone, then we recommend waiting at least one year from the herbicide application before planting. If you are putting a raised bed over the area, then you would generally want some kind of fabric barrier and at least 12 inches (more for plants like tomatoes) of fresh, clean soil.
