I was amazed and more than delighted with this gizmo. Nightly visits by a "family" of racoons were leaving a mess of my newly-laid sod. My wife ran across a video of the "ScareCrow" and suggested I try it. Since I had attempted numerous other "cures" over a week's period I had nothing to lose. (Local trappers wanted $425 to trap and kill the critters; so $50 seemed like a bargain.) It arrived the next day. 5 minutes later it was set up and ready to "scare". What do you know!!! No more visitors and the sod is flourishing. I may even order another one for the deer this fall. Sorry your rating scale only has 5 stars. This product rates 6 or 7! Thanks.

Sprinklers work well in keeping deer and other pest away from garden areas. Customer service at DoYourOwn Pest Control is exceptional. Would highly recommend and will purchase from this site again.

My shrubs are reviving after being attacked by a family of deer. I did not have any problems at all with installation or any leakage. I turn the scarecrow on at night and shut it off during the day. This is the best thing ever! It worked for me and its worth the investment.

Keeps neighbor dogs off our property. Really works without doing harm to animal. For larger area you will need more then one though.

Easy to set up and use. Keeps the deer out of the flower beds. We can now enjoy the beauty of the yard. Only issue is the water leaks take some care in stopping.

I friend told me about these little babies, and I could not be more pleased with my purchase. Not only does it water my lawn, but I have also not had any issues with critters in my flowerbeds since! All of the neighbors want one now. And the best part? It also works for keeping the bratty neighbor's kids out of my flowers!

I wanted to keep turkeys and deer out of my rock garden. It's planted with deer-resistant plants, but they still tromped on it investigating things. Now, it has become a game with them. They check it out every day. It's like they are playing in the sprinklers! A few more deer now than before. But it WORKS. They do not touch the garden, nor do they hang around it. And it's fun for me to watch out my kitchen window.

We find that this product works exactly as stated. It's easy to set up and adjust. We are very satisfied. No more neighbors cats digging in our yard and flowerbeds!

I've use many of these sprinklers now - two are in my yard, protecting plants from the deer, and the three I just bought here are standing guard on the boarder of my mini-orchard. I used to buy them from through Amazon, but I found a better price here, and the same sprinkler. I love how well they work. And it's always fun when a pedestrian strays into its path!

I absolutely love this item, I have a cat that wanted to use my freshly tilled garden as her litter box! When ! set up the sprinkler, she had to be curious; only took one time and she hasn't entered the garden again and this was 3 weeks ago. I live near the woods with all kinds of animals coming in my yard. I check the garden every morning and haven't seen the first track of any varmint! Told my daughter about it and now she's ordering one ! Thank you so very much!!

The order was quickly sent and received in good shape. When replacing some 5 year old units that we use to keep the deer from our deck flowers, my husband found one of the new ones did not work. It was quickly solved by calling and talking to the service center. A replacement is on it's way. Great service, would definitily use this company again.

We had a problem with the neighbor's cats using my wife's garden as a toilet. A week of using the Scarecrow trained them to stay away. Good thing too, I couldn't take much more of her harping on me about it. Instructions are clear, follow them to success! Be sure to turn the sensitivity knob to zero when working in front of it. Or don't and let your spouse walk in front it, good times!

I forgot this in my previous review. For those of you that may not have much space to mount the Scarecrow, I used just the long straight tube. I then hung it over the back a patio chair. It was perfect since we just have a block planter ~2ft tall. A Velcro strap keeps it secure. Lastly, I had to use two of the included gaskets where the hose screws in.

Ospreys are protected, and they can make a horrible mess of your boat in just a few days. We tried numerous things, but nothing really worked. A friend told us about ScareCrow, and since installing it to watch over our boat the cursed Ospreys have left it entirely alone! It would have saved more than its cost in clean-up time had I installed it earlier in the year. Great product, and a reasonable price.

For several months we have had raccoons climbing over our privacy fence, playing on the steps in our pool and having what I call "pool parties". I purchased 2 ScareCrows to cover our pool area. The raccoons have not returned since I installed the ScareCrows. Definitely worth while.

They work great and have kept the deer out of the roses. Looks like they will keep the blue herron out of the fish pond also. Great Customer Service!

My order was shipped very quickly. The ScareCrow was easy to assemble and set up. I use one of them on berries that we grow that were being decimated by birds. Since I set up the ScareCrow the birds no longer eat the berries. It startles them off every time they come. Great!

I got the ScareCrow Sprinkler to keep my cats in their own yard. We have a hugh oak they would climb to get in my neighbor's yard. This has stopped that!

I've used these devices for a few years to keep deer from eating my garden plants and they are quite effective. You have to remember to turn them off and on, although if you have a system that allows you to set up a time on the water supply, that solves that problem. The plastic parts will break after a few years (battery compartment cover), but considering the cost of the plants eaten prior to getting these, replacing them is worth it. Some parts are available on the Contech website, too.

The ScareCrow does what it's supposed to, so far ... keeping the critters away, both deer and coons. (I have verified the night activities using an infrared motion-sensitive trail camera). The raccoons were obsessive about pooping in the same spot on my lawn ... a big dip in the landscape. I had also put some Oregon Grape trimmings in that place to make it a prickling proposition to put paws down ... but one night WITHOUT the ScareCrow on and they pooped there anyway. I don't know how long I'll have to use it in order to re-train them, but so far so good.

They work excellently well! They keep Herons and Raccoons away from our Koi and turtle pond. Unfortunately, they don't seem to deter republicans or those pesky folks who come around on weekends wanting us to worship the way they do lest we go some mythical place they call "hell". Strange people, who seem to think that God has rules about how one should pray. Other than those failings these devices work as advertised. I have been using these sprayers for a number of years; they last about 5 and then need to be replaced. Not bad for something of this sort. Your prices and prompt shipping will have me using you again!

Installed this item to keep deer out of my front flower garden. Its worked wonderfully and has even kept cats and dogs out. I love this item
