    How long do I need to wait after using Scotts GrubEx before planting vegetables?
    I treated my empty vegetables bed with Scotts GrubEx last week and been watering every day. When can I plant my seedlings??

    Scott's GrubEx is not labeled to be used in areas with ediblies.  We would recommend reaching out to the manufacturer directly to confirm when it is safe to plant vegetables in the area, they can be reached at 866-476-9244.

    I have an apricot tree in the lawn. Any poison uptake by the fruit?

    You would want to make sure you apply Scotts GrubEx outside the drip line/root zone as it is not labeled for edibles.

    Can I apply Grubex with a hand spreader?
    I have no access to the large spreaders, so I am wondering if a hand spreader could substitute?

    Scotts GrubEx can be applied with a hand spreader; just be sure you apply at a rate of 3.75 lbs per 1000 sq ft.
     
    You will want to calibrate your spreader to the product you are using and its application rates. You can see a short video on how to accomplish this below.

    What is the proper setting for a Scotts Speedy Green 3000?

    Unfortunately, we do not have the spreader settings for that specific combo, and since the manufacturer does not list that spreader on their bag of Scotts GrubEx we are unsure what the exact setting would be. Due to the thousands of granules on the market and just as many different types of spreaders, there isn't a master list that exists. You may want to try calling the manufacturer of your spreader or the chemical itself directly, to see if anyone on their staff has that info. Otherwise, you will want to calibrate your spreader to the product you are using and its application rates. You can see a short video on how to accomplish this here.

    I have Scott's Edgeguard DLX spreader and used the 3.5 setting for GrubEx. Is that the correct setting, or should I reapply? I applied it 2 weeks ago and don't want to have grub issues.

    Is Grubex safe around pets?

    According to the product label, people and pets can reenter the treated areas safely after the application of Scotts GrubEx has completely dried.
