    Q
My coverage for a 5000 bag was less than 3000 sq ft. with Scotts Turf Builder Bonus S Southern Weed and Feed 2
I used the Scotts Bonus product Weed and Feed 5000 sq. ft. bag and couldn't finish my 3000 sq. ft, of property. I used a Scotts Rotary spreader set a 5.25 setting. Is this typical? Thank you.
    A

According the product label, the spreader setting for a Scotts Broadcast/Rotary Spreader would be 4 1/4. If applied at the 5.25 setting, this would put out more product than recommended per 1000 sq ft and would cause the application coverage to fall short.

The 4 1/4 setting will apply apply 3.45lbs of Scotts Turf Builder Bonus S Southern Weed and Feed 2 per 1000 sq ft. rate
