    When using Scotts Turf Builder WinterGuard Fall Weed and Feed 3 you want to be sure the grass is wet from dew or water before application. Per the manufacturer, you should put this out when you are not expecting any rainfall for 24 hours. So you can water any time after that 24-hour period.

    You should wait at least one month after applying Scott's Turf Builder Winterguard Fall Weed and Feed to overseed. The best time to overseed your lawn in PA is just before the fall rains begin to fall in mid -September and into mid October. You can check with your local cooperative extension office Master Gardener for more specific timing.

    For Tall Fescue, can I apply Barricade 0.48 and Scotts Fall Weed and Feed at the same time to treat poa annua and other weeds that one may not cover?
    I live in Maryland, and I typically apply the Scotts Fall Weed and Feed in early September. I want to make sure I catch the Poa before it germinates, so I am targeting early to mid September for the Barricade. I just want to make sure there is no conflict between the products and applications.

    Yes, you can apply the Scotts Turf Builder WinterGuard Fall Weed and Feed 3 at the same time as Andersons 0.48 Barricade Herbicide but be sure that you are applying both at the correct rates.
