    Q
Will Scythe Herbicide kill poison hemlock? If so, at what stage is the best to treat?
I have some in a sheep pasture, some at the tree line and some scattered in a field of about an acre where we have marked out the plants with flags.
    A

Scythe Herbicide is not labeled for poison hemlock. We would suggest looking at Pasture Pro as this product is labeled for poison hemlock. Please review the product label for instructions and more information before treating.

    Q
I have read that Scythe can kill Nostoc.
Have you had any experience with Scythe working on Nostoc? Is there a cheaper alternative to getting rid of Nostoc?
    A
Scythe Herbicide is non-selective post-emergent herbicide and is not labeled for killing nostoc. We recommend that you contact your local cooperative extension office for an alternative recommendation.

    Q
Can Scythe Herbicide be used for spot treatment in a horse pasture? If so, how long before I can let horse back in
It's too hot to spray 2,4-D but some weeds are getting really bad. I want to shoot em before they go to seed. I've used Scythe for other things and really like it just want to be sure its okay for the horse
    A

Scythe Herbicide is not labeled to be used in any areas that animals graze or pastures.  You can use 2,4-D products in the morning before temperatures get too hot.
