This stuff works, after several days my wife tells me it's not working. I look and the nut grass appears to be growing better. I go back and review the directions, I mixed just as specified. I let it set for a couple more weeks and wow, it's all turned brown and dead. Definitely recommend.

Finally able to get rid of the Yellow NutSedge that plagued my yard. OMG... Good riddance. One application is all it took. It is a slow process, but it works, so be patient. I highly recommend this product. Did not harm my Floratam St. Augustine. The only side effect is the St. Augustine grass slowed down on growing, but that is minor compared to the yard full of nut sedge I had. Key word is "HAD". The grass is starting to grow again and not the nutsedge.

SedgeHammer works. Showed up this year in my lawn spreading rapidly. Two shots has got it. In tall fescue and Bermuda. Been using domyown for 20 plus years for different applications never disappointed. Always shipped and delivered rather quickly. Only this time for some reason it wasn't as fast as usual. Works great. At first, you see nothing except the sedge quits growing. Takes about 2 weeks before it dies. No harmful effects to zoysia.

This herbicide really works. Takes at least two applications and a week to see the results but the horsetail has been dying out. I had a big infestation of horsetail and weeding only made it worse. I have been fighting horsetail for 8 years and now I have finally won the war.

Sedgehammer is amazing. I sprayed my whole yard, because the nutsedge was everywhere. The Sedgehammer killed the sedge, and didn't harm anything else. How does it know? I really appreciate that DoMyOwn put together this kit. Saved me a lot of research with regard to how to apply it and what products to use.

Bought this product to kill nut grass in my St Augestine yard. Slower than expected, but it did the job. Did not hurt the St Augestine turf.

I use it in St. Augustine grass in South Florida. Kills nutsedge every time and completely safe to the grass. Have to be patient. Takes 3-4 weeks to be convinced the sedge is dead.

Im using it on Poa in Centipede grass . Follow the directions and it works great. ( It does take some time )

Takes a few days to see results but it will kill the whole colony if you use it correctly. Surfactant for sure needs to be added. Nutsedge is tough stuff.

My yard was infested with Yellow Nutsedge and when I say infested I am talking about almost half an acre that was about 40% nutsedge in my newly seeded Bermuda lawn. I put down 5 gallons of this stuff at the high rate and its only been a week, but it looks like all of it is slowly yellowing and will hopefully be dead within a few more weeks. It does work slow, and you need to be patient because it takes time to work its way down to the roots and seeds underground, but it definitely works.

Controls sedges without harming my centipede lawn; as some others have. I mix with a surfactant and the 1.33 oz bottle will last 3 years easily.

It took about two weeks for damage to the Nutsedge to be evident, after that the plant quickly turned brown.

it takes long time to see nutsedge turn yellow, but it is working good. it is fast shipping.

This stuff actually WORKS. Sedge is VERY aggressive. I did give it a second treatment a few weeks later but thank God I found something that works. The price is well worth the product.

I have been fighting nutsedge for years with Image and until I tried sedgehammer I was a skeptic. Nutsedge is hard to get rid of is what I thought. It says sedgehammer takes 28 days to fully kill and that appears to be true. Also, it takes several weeks to see a difference but that did not bear true. In only 2 days using the label instructions, the nutsedge began to turn a lighter green and I could tell it was beginning to have a “bad day”! HALLELUJAH! It's been 3 weeks and it's really shrinking and going thru a long, slow, tortuous death!

I had a large area that was taken over with nutsedge. I am in FL and when lawn areas are stressed, weeds take over. I tried other products and I think they made them grow more. I used this product per the label and within 4 days they were brown in 7 days they were all dead. Now I just need to resod the area. Excellent product. PS: per label did not harm the Flortam grass at all.

Applied as directed. At first , I did not see any change. After 3 days, I cut the lawn. Did not see any nutsledge after that.

The name says it all! It knocked out the Nut Sedge better than expected - but be patient and follow the directions.
