I purchased this product because of some nutsedge issues I was having in my lawn but not too many just in two areas of my lawn. I took a chance with this product based on the reviews and I couldn't believe how great it worked. It took about two weeks for the sedge to die. You should not mow though just to give it time to work they are completely gone now and I'm a happy camper. I Now know what my go-to sedge killer is and where to find it and it's only here at Do My Own. They never disappoint

I have used Sedgehammer in the past and had very good results. I applied the application 10 days ago, and the "weeds" still look very strong. A slight yellowing is occurring on some, but most still look very healthy. Wondering if the product has changed.

Sedgehammer WORKS. Give it time to take affect. @ applications & my nut grass was gone.

I applied Sedgehammer to the nutsedge growing in my azalea bed almost two weeks ago. It appears to be killing the weeds without any damage to my azalea plants, but it took a while for there to be any signs of effect on the nutsedge. You just have to be patient to get the results you want, but if it kills the weeds without damaging the plants, it is worth the wait. Thank you, DoMyOwn, for the guidance and suggestion for solving my nutsedge problem.

I've used this product for 3 years it works. Kills sedge weed and not the grass. After you spray, the sedge weed slowly turns yellow, stops spreading and dies. I'll use it every year now

saw yellowing of the growth in 5 days and no return after the next mowing. Wish it came in a larger size.

I have used Sedgehammer on several occasions with good and bad results. For one thing it works very slowly when it does work, and other times it appears to not work much at all. I used a 1-gallon sprayer each time with the entire packet added to the sprayer. Next I'll be using Ortho Sedge Killer and Sedge Ender which is supposed to work in 3 days. Videos on YouTube indicate the Sedge Killer and Sedge Ender will work faster and better than Sedgehammer has.

The product is very efficient. Within using after about two days the sedge grass is dead and does not come back for the season. This is a great product and would recommend it to anybody that has sedge grass.

I applied SedgeHammer to my lawn full of Kyllinga. The Kyllinga started dying 7 days after application and still dying after 13 days. The Kyllinga is no longer growing seed heads. I'm happy with the results. With this all other herbicides follow directions. Use a temporary colorant/dye to insure no over lapping. Good luck!

Worked like a charm. Had an "outbreak" of sedge grass in my lawn. Prepared one application, per the recommendations, and sprayed it on over my grass. No rain for a day or two and two weeks later, all the sedge is gone. Grass looks great. One dose.

Sledgehammer did the job as promised. Sedges are difficult to control. I have the lawn treated professionally, however there are always some that are missed or come up later. I used the sledgehammer to spot treat those. Just have to be have patience, whey they start to turn yellow, it's working. I'll buy it again.

This is my first use of the product and was quite surprised how effective it works. I followed the instructions and the vast majority of the nut grass was killed with the first treatment. Will use a second treatment this week to eliminate the rest. There was no damage to the surrounding Bermuda grass.

does not work really well in my zoysia Florida sandy soil lawn,I need to find another product that will control yellow nutsedge and kyllinga . basagran and image doesn't work to an acceptable level either.

Wow! Nutsedge was running rampant in our subdivision with the recent heavy rains and St. Louis summer heat. I saw my neighbor out spraying his yard and he told me he was using SedgeHammer to kill his nut grass. I was skeptical but thought I'd give it a try. Found it online for $11 for a packet that would treat our whole yard. Ordered it and it arrived right away. It worked like crazy! My husband applied it and in just a few days, we saw the nut grass turning yellow then brown. Hooray! Success! SedgeHammer truly did the job!

Bought two packets of sledge hammer+, used one about a week ago. The nutsedge is turning yellow and not growing. Will use the second package on other spots. I would purchase again.

The product seems to have worked even more quickly than advertised (which is great). DMO delivered very quickly. Good customer experience.

Applied two packets (1 ounce) to an 800 sq. ft. area. It's been two weeks. After mixing one packet in a gallon of water I added some blue dye marker to be sure I covered the area. The sprayer ran out after only covering half of the area I wanted to treat. So I used the second pack. Some browning on some areas have appeared but there are still many areas of heavy kyllinga that are still bright green. Even after a heavier-than-recommended dose of the product I'm waiting for results. I applied the product when temps were 85 degrees two days after mowing and did not mow for three days after application. It was dry for the entire 3 days.

stuff works great! I will say some of the grass around it browned up but I did apply this stuff extra liberally to really rid the nutsedge. Worked way better than other items I have tried!

I've had sedge slowly and surely expanding in my yard for years. This SedgeHammer + appears to be a successful treatment as I am seeing the sedge turning brown after about a week with no ill effects on my buffalo grass lawn. Time will tell, but in the meantime - thanks for a great product!

SedgeHammer works effectively but results are slower than you hope for. Being patient and letting it do its work will be worth the wait. Another fact I was not aware of is this product will also kill other types of weeds. I've used it on my gravel driveway and it will take care of unwanted weeds. And of course it is safe for your lawn. Ordering from domyown.com was easy and delivery was very fast and the price was much cheaper than any other website I found.

This product really works for Nutsedge that resist everything else. It takes about 3 weeks, but they stop growing immediately. It is important that you add a surfactant to the 1.3 oz bottle, but the packs have it included. That is the plus.

I bought this product to kill Kyllinga because Scoot's/ Trugreen said they don't have any way of controlling it. I bought this and the 1 gal pump sprayer, used it to specs and my weeds turned yellowish and than brown in a matter of a week. Hopefully I will not have this problem next year but if I do, I know what I am buying for it.
