I have purchased the Fertilome Weed-Out Lawn Killer with Trimec along with the Chapin Liquid Hose-End Sprayer. I have read the directions over and over again on how to apply the weed killer with a hose end sprayer but I need some assistance on what to set my settings to on my hose end sprayer. I have 2000 square feet to cover and I know I will use 4 ounces of the Fertilome but what will my setting be on the Chapin hose end sprayer? Thanks!!
You should set the Chapin hose end sprayer sprayer on .5 oz per gallon mark and then plan on using 8 gallons of water to cover the 2,000 sq ft area per the product label instructions (you need to use 1 gallon of water per 250 sq ft)
