Larry from Huntsville Al writes

Setting for hose in sprayer

My potassium and phosphorus are almost nonexistent

Answer:

If you want to apply Phosgard Plus 0 - 32 - 25 to turfgrass, then you would use 3-6 oz per 1000 square feet in 4 - 10 gallons of water. So if you were to use a hose-end sprayer, then you need to be sure you are using at least 4 gallons of water per 1000 sq ft. For example, you could set the rate to 1 oz per gallon of water, and then be sure you are using at least 4 gallons (so 4 oz of the fertilizer) per 1000 sq ft.
