Sevin Concentrate label states up to 3 months control except ticks. How long are ticks controlled?

I need something to control ticks for a long time as I have deer roaming my backyard

Answer:

Most insecticide concentrates will not last more than 1-2 months on the surface with each spray. If ticks are a heavy problem on your property, or you have lots of animal activity such as deer entering the area and reintroducing ticks to the environment, then regular retreatments will be needed on your part. You can review our Tick Control Guide to see tips for tick control in the yard and how best to prevent more in the future. Using an IGR mixed with your residual inseticide to help stop the reproductive cycle of existing tick populations will help reduce the amount you are contending with in the future as well.
