    Q
    Does Sevin Concentrate kill lizards?
    A

No, Sevin Concentrate is not labeled to kill lizards. We do know of any products that are made to harm lizards. We would recommend using a general insecticide, such as Suspend SC. This will kill their food source and help with keeping the lizards out of the treated area. Glue boards can also be used to catch them as well.

  • Asked by Lyn from Hauser, Idaho
    08/21/2016
    Q
If sprayed on pear trees when fruit is on will Sevin Concentrate penetrate the fruit skin?
    A

No, per the manufacturer Sevin concentrate when used on pear trees when fruit is present will not penetrate the skin. However, you do want to try and spray upper and lower leaf surface, between fruit clusters, and on small limbs and trunks only to the point of run off where the pest appear. Even though there may be some over spray when spraying it would not harm the pear itself. You would just want to be sure when you do harvest the fruit that you wash it well before using or eating.

Will Sevin Concentrate kill grubs in my lawn?
We had grubs damage the lawn last fall and need to treat for this summer.
    A

Sevin Concentrate is not labeled to control grubs.  A better option would be something like Merit Granules or Dominion 2L (if you prefer a liquid) to spray your yard at the end of April/beginning of May to start protecting your yard against grub populations this year.
