I sprayed very thoroughly about a week ago, and it seems to be working, but I prefer a soil soak, which works quickly and thoroughly. I feel like the bugs can escape the spray as they're rolled up in the leaves. I asked for a soil soak as I wasn't prepared to spray, but this spray concentrate arrived. I had to buy a sprayer. Apparently, AZ has outlawed the active ingredient in the soil soak I liked. Booo, AZ.

With all the confusions in apple management, Sevin is a go to product for insect control. If you follow directions and safety requirements there are not to many issues. If you don't follow guidelines, you probably shouldn't be spraying anything.
