You should use bedbug proof mattress and boxspring encasements on your bed.

I have a bag of dust and an empty bottle that used to have Sevin spray in it. I don't feel comfortable "sprinkling dust"... "How much is just right ?" from this bag.ANo, Sevin Dust 5% should not be mixed with water. The rate of use for squash is .5 lbs per 1000 sq. ft. If you are not comfortable using dust, we would recommend Sevin Concentrate. This can be mixed with water and sprayed directly onto the plants.

You should wait at least 48 hours after applying Sevin Dust before watering plants. And you do not need to water them prior to an application. If it rained/watered beforehand, the area may be moist like if dew was present but not overly waterlogged.Â

Unfortunately, Sevin Dust 5% is not labeled for use on Roses. Roses are naturally sensitive flowers and we would recommend a product that is specifically for Rose Care.
