We just had Tempo 1% Dust applied to a yellow jacket nest in our attic. The nest is above our bathroom and we noticed a light stain on the drywall ceiling. After they all die should we cut out and replace the stained portion of the drywall and remove the nest and patch or should we be fine just painting the stain and leaving the nest?
After your treatment of Tempo 1% Dust and once the yellow jackets are dead, we would recommend to remove the nest. It's fine to cut out and replace the stained portion of the drywall but make sure to wear your Personal Protection Equipment (PPE). Not removing the nest may lead to other pest issues in the future.
