Should I pour Bonide Systemic Insect Control into soil at first sign of leaf growth or when young foliage is plentiful?

Answer:

Bonide Systemic Insect Control should be applied upon first evidence of insects no matter if it has leaves or not. Ideally you would not want to make an application when the plant is actively blooming to reduce risk of harm to beneficial insects.
