    I like this sprayer , the only problem is the poor construction material tank, the front top left corner gets damaged by the sun. Now is too pricy.

    Pest Control Operator

    This is the best battery powered backpack unit for low volume spraying. The battery charge will last all week(+) with daily use, and it is excellent when coupled with a B&G brass spray wand delivering superb coverage and volume distribution. The tank is susceptible to long term direct sunlight damage (as all plastic-polymer-fiberglass). For lawn maintenance, the volume control using the B&G wand would be perfect and cost effective for herbicide applications.

    Leaking problem

    Have purchased 2 of these units and both leaked out the bottom from new. Have used these units for years and all the sudden the new ones started leaking. Some kind of factory defect.

    Shurflo Battery Backpack Sprayer

    Fits nice on your back, but could use more and consistent battery power with a lithium battery. Also could use a better wand that is durable and a little longer.

    Use this sprayer for state mosquito control.

    Good sprayer vs steel pump can,more consistent coverage than hand pump sprayers.Stock wand is lighter than brass, but is inconsistent and breaks easily, replaced the stock one with brass Hudson wand for better spray.Hose from pump to wand isn't very good either, switched to Tygon hose. Make sure to turn pump off and relieve pressure to extend pump life.When we first switched from hand pump sprayers to the Shurflo's, 12 years ago, it was heaven, but SHURflo's back then were only $150.00, now over $300.00
