Anaya from Panama City Beach, Fl writes

So far, crabgrass is still thriving.

I spot-sprayed Grass-out on crabgrass. The problem is, I have no idea if the crabgrass is still growing or is mature. I suspect perhaps it was mature because so far literally NOTHING has happened. Should I spray again? How long should I wait before doing that and should I use a higher concentration?

Answer:

We recommend waiting 2 to 3 weeks to make a second application. For crabgrass control growing in ornamentals use 0.2 oz to 0.4 oz of Grass Out Max per 1,000 sq. ft. along with a non-ionic surfactant for best results. As long as it's young and actively growing, between 2 - 6 inches, it will work. If it's not working, we recommend getting a positive ID to be sure it is crabgrass, if you haven't already. Please read the product label for complete application instructions.
